Obituary of Nikki Lowry

Nikki “Mae Mae” Lowry, 17, crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Tuesday, June 23, 2020. 

Nikki was a beautiful toy poodle born on July 11, 2002 to ‘PJ Valentine’s Heart Throb’ and ‘Classic Hail Storm’, she was AKC registered with a combination of her birth parents names as ‘Nikki’s Throbbing Hail Storm’. 

Nikki was brought home at 8 weeks old as a gift for her “mother” Raychael’s 12th birthday, just months after Ray was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. They had a very special and incredibly close bond from the very beginning, quickly becoming inseparable. Nikki was very in tune with Ray’s diabetes and could often sense blood sugar fluctuations before anyone else, saving her from several dangerous situations over the years. 

Nikki enjoyed wearing clothes and always made a fashion statement wherever she went, she also loved going for car rides and sticking her head out the window, which was about the only time she acted like a dog. She loved spending time with her “grandparents” Kent and Deena, and her “Uncle Chew Toy” Kyle.

She will be very missed by all  but especially by the other dogs in our home, Aiden, Tutu, and Thomas.
