Obituary of Zeus Boehning

On April 4th, 2023, our Zeus left us behind to cross the Rainbow Bridge.

His pack/family, Bill, Deborah, Brandon Boehning, along with cats, Roudy and Buddy, were by his side when he passed.

Brandon brought him home in 2011. He was a year old and full of energy.

Zeus will be sorely missed and remembered as a loving pet with many qualities, including being a guardian, therapist, walking partner, dishwasher, mind reader, but most of all, a loving companion who was always by our side no matter what.

His favorite thing was going for rides in the pickup or car, stopping, and watching the neighbors' goats or cattle. He was fascinated with them and would watch them for hours. An ice-cream cone might draw his attention away from them though.

Winter was his season to enjoy being outside. He loved running and playing in the snow.

The one thing he didn’t like was the doorbell. To him, it meant someone was at the door that didn’t belong there, and he let them and us know about it.

We will never find another dog like him. He was intelligent, learned quickly, and always there to see you with a wagging tail and a smile.

Rest in peace Zeus, we already miss you.
